Shipping method is a place where you can offer your customer various shipping options like Free Shipping, Express Shipping etc.
You can setup shipping charge that a customer pays at the time of checkout. It can be a fixed charge, like a $5 flat rate for all orders, or free shipping with a certain amount of cart value.
Configure your own shipping rates based on your store's needs and the shipping service you use.
Log in to your CRM. Go to Settings > Shipping > Shipping Methods, click Add Shipping Method and enter the following details.
- Enabled: Set to Yes if you want to activate it
- Title: Name for example, Free Shipping Above $50 or Express 2 days Shipping for $10
- Charge type: Fixed or Percentage
- Amount: Price or percentage to be charged at the time of checkout.
- Minimum Cart Value: This is where you define range of cart value for shipping method to be applicable. If your express shipping method is available for all order values, set this as 0 or 1. This is compulsory
- Maximum Cart Value: This is where you define range of cart value for shipping method to be applicable. If your express shipping method is available for all order values, set this as 100000. This is compulsory.
- Country for which this shipping method is applicable. Make sure to add all the countries where you would like to ship your products.
- Zipcodes: If you want any shipping method to be applicable only for local areas, you can define zip codes/ postal codes here. If customer shipping address zip code is available in your shipping method, then Shipping method will be visible.
Example:
If you want to offer free shipping for order above $50 and charge $10 for all orders below $50, You have to setup 2 shipping methods as below:
