Offering discount coupons is one of the marketing tactics to increase traffic and convert your visitors into customers. You can offer your customers a fixed value or percentage discount on products, collections, or variants in your store.
By offering coupons to new or existing customers you persuade them to make a purchase. Big seasonal promotions like semi-annual sale, Black Friday sale can be paired with coupons. Your customers can redeem discounts codes in your online store.
Login to CRM and go to Marketing > Coupon Codes and click Add Coupon. Enter the following details and click Save.
- Coupon Name
- Coupon Code: Customer will use this code at the time of placing order to redeem.
- Coupon Description
- Coupon Type: Fixed or Percentage
- Amount: Enter amount for Fixed type or percentage for Percentage type.
- Start and End Date: Use the calendar to set the start and end date for the discount. Setting the dates will limit the usage of coupon for a limited period of time. If you do not choose the date, coupon will never expire.
- No of Coupons: set a total number of times a coupon can be used. For example, setting a limit of 200 allows the coupon code to be used 200 times across your customer base.
- Customer Uses: set to limit usage of a coupon per customer. For example, setting a limit of 2 allows single customer to use coupon for 2 times.
- Minimum Purchase Amount: set to a minimum amount a customer should purchase to qualify for the discount.
- Country: select country to which code applies
- State: select country to which code applies
- Zip code(optional)
- Status: set to Active if you want customers to start using it immediately on creation.
To distribute this coupon, you can send the code to your customers by email, or display it on your online store. Your customers need to enter the code during checkout to receive the discount.
